The City of San Gabriel is recruiting for a GIS Analyst. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, computer science, or a closely related field.
Three years of experience in GIS analysis and database management.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD software is desirable.
Local government experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Performs technical work related to the analysis, development, and maintenance of the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS).
Provides mapping and spatial analysis services to support city departments and projects.
Ensures the accuracy and quality of GIS data.
Assists other projects and assignments under the IT Division.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Provides technical expertise in managing and analyzing spatial data as well as software related issues.
