As a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Analyst II with the City of Colorado Springs Planning Department, you will play a key role in supporting land use planning, development review, and comprehensive planning initiatives through advanced geographic information systems (GIS) analysis, data management, mapping, and visualization. This position serves as the department’s primary GIS resource, developing and maintaining critical geospatial datasets, conducting spatial and demographic analyses, and creating maps, dashboards, and web applications that support informed decision-making. Working closely with planning staff, other City departments, developers, and the public, you will help translate geographic information into meaningful insights that guide growth, development, and community planning efforts across Colorado Springs.
