About The Position
Under general supervision, performs work of increasing levels of difficulty in the design and development of GIS applications; and performs related duties as required. The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill two (2) vacancies for the classification of GIS Analyst I. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year in various departments city-wide.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in GIS/Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- One (1) year of professional level experience in developing and implementing automated geographic information systems
- Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or “border state” driver's license, as defined by NRS 483
