About The Position
MVWSD middle schools are seeking an Activities Coach for their after-school sports programs. This role involves coaching girls' volleyball.
Requirements
- Certification under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594, prior to the beginning of the season of sport.
- Current TB examination.
- Mandated Child Abuse Reporter certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching certification.
- NFHS - Concussion in Sports certification.
- NFHS - Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification.
- NFHS - Heat Illness Prevention certification.
Responsibilities
- Coaching girls' volleyball at the middle school level.
- Ensuring all required certifications are obtained before assuming coaching duties.
Benefits
- Stipend of $2,000.
- Additional $50 stipend per playoff game.
