About The Position

This position is for a Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach at Pasco High School. The role involves mentoring coaches, directing phases of the athletic program, coordinating camps and clinics, and attending required training. The salary is based on the current Coaching Salary Schedule. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.

Requirements

• Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
• Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
• High School Diploma, required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Mentor coaches within program.
• Direct all phases of athletic program.
• Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
• Attend District training regarding concussion management.
• Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
