About The Position
Pasco School District is seeking to fill three (3) Girls Basketball Assistant Coach positions at Pasco High School. This role is conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening and requires adherence to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines. The coach will mentor other coaches, direct phases of the athletic program, coordinate out-of-season camps/clinics, and attend required district training, including concussion management and other eligibility-maintaining sessions.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Mentor coaches within the program.
- Direct all phases of the athletic program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
