About The Position
Newton High School is seeking a Girls Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The position begins in November 2026. The salary for this position is $4,191.
Requirements
- Must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
- Must provide a copy of Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate.
- Must provide a copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate.
- Must provide a copy of Coaching Transcripts.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head wrestling coach in all aspects of the girls' varsity wrestling program.
- Provide coaching and guidance to student-athletes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes.
- Uphold the policies and procedures of Newton High School and the school district.
