About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls Track Head Coach at Seminole Middle School. The role involves coaching track and field, imparting knowledge of the sport to participants, and potentially fulfilling classroom monitor duties. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate, and applicants without one will need to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate (or obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education).
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
