High School Girls Head Track Coach
About The Position
The Solon Community School District is seeking a Head Girls Track Coach for the 2026–27 school year. The Athletic Coach establishes and maintains a positive athletic environment where student athletes develop sport-related knowledge, skills, attitudes, beliefs, and sportsmanship. The position includes developing and managing practice and competition schedules that give student athletes opportunities to foster a love of the sport and competition. The coach communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with student athletes, their parents, and the community. Salary is based on the District’s current extra service contract salary schedule.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a positive athletic environment for student athletes.
- Support student athletes’ development of knowledge, skills, attitudes, beliefs, and sportsmanship related to track.
- Develop and manage practice and competition schedules.
- Provide opportunities for student athletes to foster a love of the sport and competition.
- Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with student athletes, their parents, and the community.
