About The Position
Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Girls Swim Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This position reports to the Athletic Director. Girls Swim and Dive is a Fall Sport, with the season running from August 24 - November 14, 2026. Bishop Blanchet is a Catholic high school committed to attracting and retaining outstanding individuals who reflect the racial, cultural, and gender diversity of its student population. The school actively seeks candidates of different backgrounds who are devoted to engaging and inspiring a high-achieving and well-rounded student population to be leaders, in and out of the classroom. The co-curricular student activity program, including athletics, clubs, and performing arts, is recognized for its excellence in the northwest.
Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Possessing a valid Washington State driver's license
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED and Lifeguard certification

- Previous coaching experience at the HS level
Responsibilities
- Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
- Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities.
- Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
- Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
- Developing players within a unified program.
- Teaching proper technique to improve player development.
