About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls Soccer Head Coach at Western High School. The role involves coaching the girls' soccer team, imparting knowledge of the sport, and potentially fulfilling classroom monitor duties. The position is temporary and non-exempt.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate (as mandated by Florida State Statute for high school coaches).
- Applicants without a valid Florida Educator Certificate must obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.

- Knowledge of the activity and the ability to impart this knowledge to participants (for Assistant Coach role, but applicable to Head Coach).
- Computer skills as required for the position (for Assistant Coach role, but applicable to Head Coach).
