About The Position

The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Girls' Soccer Assistant Coach to coach the girls' soccer team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.

Requirements

• CPR certified
• NFHS concussion course completed
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience coaching soccer

Responsibilities

• Coach the team they are assigned to
• Take over the duties and responsibilities of the head coach when not present
• Assist in coaching at practices and games
• Implement practice plans
• Oversee scouting of the opposition
• Be a liaison between the captain and the head coach
• Coordinate with the athletic office on the tasks of rosters, awards, and medical issues
• Promote teamwork and a positive work ethic amongst the soccer team
