About The Position

This supplemental position involves coaching Girls Lacrosse, with opportunities for both Head and Assistant Coach roles. The position requires a strong understanding of the sport and the ability to effectively teach and guide student-athletes. Coaches are responsible for imparting knowledge of the sport and ensuring participants develop their skills.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
• Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport to participants.
• Develop and implement training and coaching strategies.
• Manage team activities and ensure participant safety.
