About The Position

This position is responsible to the Athletic Director and/or a head coach and provides coaching, development, and supervisory responsibilities of an athletic program. Compensation for this position is contingent upon the specific athletic event being approved by the District to occur during the school year. Certifications listed as required qualifications may also be obtained upon acceptance of the position. The district reserves the right to modify or change the duties or the essential functions of this job at any time.

Requirements

ASEP Certification - American Sport Education Program
CHSAA Certification - Colorado High School Activities Association
High school graduate -high school diploma or equivalent
NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification - National Federation of State High Schools
Ability to be flexible and patient in work demands
Ability to assist students in assigned areas
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from many diverse backgrounds and professions including supervisors, administrators, coworkers, staff, students, parents, and the general public

Responsibilities

Regularly pursues appropriate professional learning activities
Rosters, transportation requests, certifications are handed in prior to deadlines.
Supervises all facilities and athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions
