About The Position
Bridgeport Public Schools is seeking a Girls' Junior Varsity Basketball Coach for Harding High School for the 2026-2026 school year. The annual stipend for this position is $2,500.00. The coach will be responsible for the basketball program and may have off-season duties. This position is in accordance with the Agreement between the Bridgeport Education Association (BEA) and the Bridgeport Board of Education. The annual stipend will follow the 2026-2027 Coaches' Salaries.
Requirements
- Possession of a Connecticut Teaching Certificate or Connecticut Coaching Permit
- First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
- Concussion Management Training
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thorough applicable knowledge of the coaching position.
- Availability for off-season duties related to the coaching program.
