About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls Basketball Head Coach at Miramar High School. The role involves coaching the girls' basketball team, imparting knowledge of the sport, and ensuring participants develop their skills. The position is temporary and non-exempt.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate (as mandated by Florida State Statute for high school coaches).
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
Nice To Haves
- Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Coach for the Girls Basketball team.
- Impart knowledge of the sport to participants.
- Develop participants' skills in basketball.
