About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including promptly and warmly greeting and acknowledging customers, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and directions. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make buying decisions through needs assessment and product recommendations. The position is seasonal.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, prompt customer service and support a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
Demonstrate products to customers.
Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
