About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Gifted & Talented Teacher to support students in Aurora, CO. You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to identify gifted students, develop individualized learning plans, and create meaningful opportunities for students to reach their full potential. Requirements

Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License
Gifted & Talented Endorsement required
Bachelor's degree required
Strong collaboration, communication, and instructional planning skills

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred
School-based teaching experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Screen and evaluate students for Gifted & Talented identification
Develop, implement, and annually update Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs) for identified gifted students
Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that challenges gifted learners
Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning materials to meet individual student needs
Collaborate with classroom teachers to enrich and extend curriculum across content areas
Co-plan and support differentiated instruction with Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies teachers
Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction and support growth
Partner with students, families, and school staff to promote student success
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional development
