Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Basic math skills for processing transactions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
QuantiFERON Gold test
Proof of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunization
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in gifts sales or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, thanking them for purchases, and inviting them back.
Meet store performance objectives and daily/monthly sales goals.
Adhere to corporate and Store Manager directions for supporting events.
Clock in and out according to the scheduled work slot to manage budgeted hours.
Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained, including dusting shelves, removing trash, organizing displays according to corporate standards, and cleaning surfaces as per schedule.
Follow specific cleanliness requirements related to infection prevention.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including counting down the register drawer at the start of each shift and during shift changes.
Follow company policy for processing various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, payroll deduction, hospital charge account).
Properly notate cash overages or shortages and notify the Store Manager of unexplained differences over $10.
Follow hospital and Cloverkey policies regarding personal appearance, attendance, and customer service.
Understand and adhere to hospital policies.
Demonstrate knowledge of the hospital contact and the importance of maintaining a good relationship with the hospital.
Show respect for and understanding of the role of volunteers.
