About The Position

Assists customers with purchasing merchandise in a friendly and courteous manner. Ensures merchandise is neatly displayed. Assists with marking and pricing merchandise and directed.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
• Must be able to work on own, without constant supervision.
• Demonstrated cash handling skills required.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits as required by position.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1-year retail/sales experience preferred.
• Normally acquired through a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with merchandise purchases.
• Ensures that all applicable health and safety precautions are followed.
• Accurately operates cash register. Makes change and processes credit card and room charges in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Assists with merchandise stocking and ticketing. Ensures that merchandise is neatly displayed and in proper area.
• Other duties as assigned.
