About The Position
This position is for a Gift Shop Assistant at UW Health, Wisconsin's #1 hospital. The role involves providing quality customer service to ensure a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors. The assistant will also support the service and fundraising goals of the shop and assist the Supervisor with purchasing-related tasks and decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of retail experience Required
Nice To Haves
- Technical degree or post high school education Preferred
- Experience in ordering, receiving, pricing and inventory of products Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service and ensure a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Provide support to the service and fundraising goals of the shop.
- Assist the Supervisor in purchasing related tasks and decisions.
