GI Lead Technician - Full Time - Days
About The Position
In this highly visible, fast-paced, and challenging position, the GI Lead Technician collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care. Under physician supervision, the Lead GI Technician assists with, assembles, and operates devices required for interventional endoscopic procedures and ensures that all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available for procedures. The position is at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas. The hospital provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care, and is supported by more than 1,700 team members and 900 physicians.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is strongly preferred.
- SGNA GTS certificate is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional endoscopic procedures under physician supervision.
- Assemble and operate devices required for interventional endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure equipment, instruments, and supplies are available for procedures.
- Communicate clearly and openly.
