Summary of Role: The mission of gfLABS is to establish an R&D ecosystem to develop the next technological innovations needed to drive capture in various market segments. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role in driving projects that enable next generation technologies in Power and CMOS, RF and Non-Volatile memory. You would collaborate with process integration teams, technology architects, and process engineers to drive project execution.

Requirements

• PhD or Master/Diploma in physics, electrical engineering, materials science or similar disciplines
• 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry in general
• Project management experience
• Strong data analysis, data mining, data transformation and problem-solving skills
• Can adapt quickly, grasp complex technical content and have an ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Very good English and intercultural communication skills are required

Nice To Haves

• PMP certification
• Previous R&D experience
• Power BI skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Product Development teams and Technology Architects to learn about technological needs related to GF’s technology platforms
• Work with technology architects to determine project scope and needs
• Use planning tools to lay out project plans, milestones and execution plans for R&D projects
• Work with other organizations such as legal and partnership development to frame scope of work, joint development agreements and other contractual documents to support R&D projects
• Assess and manage resources and budget to execute projects
• Ownership of project execution and milestone to established timelines
• Communicate status to team members, management and fab organizations to ensure alignment and focus
• Improve business process to ensure project execution
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
