About The Position

The Office of Recovery and Resolution Plans (ORR) coordinates and implements requirements from two European authorities: the European Central Bank (ECB) for the Recovery Plan, and the Single Resolution Board (SRB) for resolution planning. The ultimate goal is to ensure the entity is more resilient to potential crises. The ORR develops cross-functional projects involving numerous departments and group subsidiaries. European authorities have increased information requirements, and the new hire will be involved in supporting periodic resolution reporting, optimizing associated processes, coordinating and managing projects, preparing deliverables for authorities, and preparing status updates for management and governance bodies, specifically the Recovery and Resolution Plans Committee. The ORR team is located in Barcelona and Madrid.

Requirements

• Data scientist and/or data engineer profile with a higher education degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• High level of written and spoken English is essential.
• Ability to write deliverables entirely in English.
• Written comprehension to interpret supervisor documents with detailed requirements and guides without difficulty.
• Knowledge and experience working with office tools (Powerpoint, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of tools for data preparation, analysis, and exploitation (SAS, SQL or similar, QlikSense, Python, Google Cloud Platform Suite).

Responsibilities

• Support in the elaboration of periodic resolution reporting, adding value through continuous optimization of associated processes.
• Support in the coordination and management of various projects developed in the area to respond to authority requirements.
• Support in the elaboration of deliverables sent to the authorities.
• Collaborate in the preparation of necessary material on the status and progress of projects for management and governance bodies, and specifically for the Recovery and Resolution Plans Committee.
• Accompany and/or manage E2E one or more projects or programs (definition, methodology, design, execution management, project results and measurement) directing, coordinating and guiding internal / external resources assigned to them guaranteeing success in terms of time, quality and expectations.
