The Data Product Manager – "Move to Fabric" (M2F) is responsible for the functional management of the M2F program's data integration work. They ensure that data integrated into Microsoft Fabric meets business needs, is correctly prioritized, and aligned with the program's overall trajectory, in a multi-country and multi-time zone context (Europe and Americas). Positioned closely with the integration team and the data architect, the Data Product Manager acts as a functional pivot between business units, countries, and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role in data / platforms / data integration contexts;
  • Experience with large-scale data transformation programs is an asset;
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and data platforms (e.g., Fabric, Azure, equivalents) is appreciated;
  • Good understanding of data and analytics challenges (data platforms, integration, uses);
  • Ability to work with data engineering and architecture teams;
  • Mastery of data product prioritization and governance practices;
  • Excellent communication in French and English. English is required, as the position involves communicating with clients and partners outside of Quebec;
  • Experience in multi-country / multi-time zone contexts is appreciated.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the program's functional data integration scope (domains, datasets, uses);
  • Structure and carry the expected business value of integrated data flows (service continuity, granularity, functional rules);
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize the data backlog (domains, source systems, flows, datasets);
  • Prepare and formalize necessary functional decisions (priorities, scope, sequencing);
  • Be the main interface with business units and countries for data-related topics;
  • Work in tandem with the Data Architect to ensure feasibility without handling the technical design;
  • Contribute to program governance by ensuring traceability and clarity of decisions;
  • Operate effectively in an environment highly dependent on human interactions, relying on structured rituals and clear communication.
