About The Position

Extra Multi-Ressources is looking for a Supply Chain Manager – North America for one of its clients, an international manufacturing company recognized for its expertise and commitment to operational excellence. Reporting to the group's supply chain management, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing supply chain activities across North America. Based in Drummondville and a member of the regional management team, you will work closely with sales, operations, production, and finance teams to ensure overall supply chain performance. You will supervise a team of four people and play a key role in process improvement, optimization of daily operations, and deployment of best practices in planning, logistics, customer service, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Significant experience of at least 5 years in supply chain management, process improvement, or operational transformation.
  • Excellent understanding of demand forecasting, planning, order management, and customer service processes.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and performance indicator management.
  • Team management experience and ability to influence various stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English to communicate with the head office in England and English-speaking clients.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environment is an asset.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training certification is an asset.
  • Mobilizing leadership, initiative, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mobilize, and develop a team responsible for customer service, procurement, and shipping.
  • Actively participate in the regional management team and contribute to the organization's growth and efficiency.
  • Optimize processes linking sales and supply chain to improve operational flow.
  • Analyze current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of forecasts, orders, and data necessary for planning.
  • Develop and implement performance indicators to measure and improve results.
  • Coordinate daily activities related to orders, inventory, logistics, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and planning teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Lead regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) review meetings.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and work methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulations, and corporate standards.
