About The Position

The Medicine Department at HMFP @ BIDMC is seeking a Gerontologist for a part-time clinical research position for our Boston location. This role involves conducting high-quality research related to geriatric oncology and related fields. The position also requires applying for independent funding through federal, foundation, or other funding sources and disseminating research findings through appropriate committees, division meetings, national meetings, and peer-reviewed publications. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or eligible in Gerontology
A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Conduct high quality research related to geriatric oncology and related fields.
Apply for independent funding through federal, foundation, or other funding sources.
Disseminate research findings through appropriate committees and division meetings within BIDMC.
Disseminate research findings at national meetings and through peer reviewed publications.
