About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance German language teacher for a client in Washington, DC. The client requires General 1-to-1 German tuition, with lessons to be held at the student's home (20007) or office (20037). The student is a beginner and requires a total of 26 hours of instruction. Classes are to be 2 hours long, twice a week, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate early mornings (as early as 7:00 AM) or late evenings (as late as 8:00 PM). The lessons are intended to begin as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Be a native German speaker OR hold a teaching degree.
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
- Have a valid working visa.
- Live up to 20 miles from the client's location (Washington, DC 20007 or 20037).
Responsibilities
- Provide General 1-to-1 German tuition to a beginner student.
- Conduct classes of 2 hours duration, twice a week.
- Adapt to the client's schedule, with availability for classes as early as 7:00 AM and/or as late as 8:00 PM.
- Travel to the student's home (20007) or office (20037) in Washington, DC for lessons.
- Be flexible with the location and schedule based on mutual availability.
