About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a German Teacher for a client in Los Angeles, United States. This is a freelance, part-time position for a General German course. The format is four-to-one, with a total of 32 hours, and each session lasting two hours. The lessons will primarily be in Los Angeles (90018), with online lessons required for part of the summer. The student level is beginner, and the age group is mixed (adult parents, adult children, and underage children). The schedule is once per week, preferably Tuesdays at 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM, with potential for some weekend sessions. The motivation for the lessons is to enable communication with German relatives. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Los Angeles (90018).
- Ability to submit a CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
- Meet the stated conditions for the role.
