About The Position

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System with full time Geriatric Registered Nurses. The Registered Nurses are expected to perform the following:

all staff will be assigned to the Menlo Park facility with potential to be assigned to VAPAHCS main campus as need dictates
Multiple Shifts to include: 0700 AM-0330 PM; 0730AM-4000PM; 0800AM-0430PM; 1030AM-0700PM; 1130AM-0800PM; 1230PM-900PM; 0330PM-1200AM.
Contributes to the development of care delivery models and environmental design, ensuring evidence-based, accessible, affordable, and equitable patient care.
Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Aligns nursing/clinical objectives with organizational strategic outcomes, participating in strategy planning and execution.
Fosters a safe and supportive environment conductive to the professional development of healthcare professionals.
Partners with others to effect change and produce optimal outcomes.
Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team.
Evaluates outcomes of evidence-based decisions and practice changes for individuals, groups, and populations.
Responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Valid, full, and current state license
• Valid BLS
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing
