Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no negative indicators
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (State of California for RNs)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English
• Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements
• Verifiable education, licensure, certifications, and work history
• Completion of VA mandatory annual training, including: Compliance & Business Integrity Emergency Preparedness Infection Control Government Ethics Safety & Security VA Privacy & HIPAA Training
• Must meet infection control and immunization requirements (TB/PPD, influenza vaccine, etc.)
• Must comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards
• Must pass background investigation, E-Verify, and citizenship requirements
• Must not appear on the HHS OIG Excluded Individuals/Entities List
