About The Position

Premier Indoor Comfort Systems is seeking a skilled Geothermal HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install geothermal and standard HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments. In this role, you will ensure system safety, efficiency, and peak performance while providing top-tier technical customer service. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand their systems and guiding them toward the best repair or replacement solutions for their homes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of residential or commercial HVAC service experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (essential for driving company service vehicles).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Deep understanding of water flow, temperature regulation, and fluid dynamics within geothermal loop systems.
  • Proficiency with electrical components related to water-source heat pumps, including 24v, communicating, and wireless controls.
  • General understanding of hot water loops, tempering valves, and water storage systems for multipurpose geothermal designs.
  • Ability to complete low-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioning units.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and document service findings electronically via tablet/phone.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
  • NATE Certification or relevant geothermal manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Consultation: Meet with homeowners and commercial clients to diagnose comfort issues and clearly explain technical solutions.
  • System Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and complex diagnostics on geothermal loops and standard HVAC systems.
  • Quality Installation: Complete approved repairs and installations efficiently, utilizing protective measures (drop cloths, shoe covers) to keep properties clean and undamaged.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards while operating field equipment.
