Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university; MSCE with geotechnical emphasis preferred
- 12+ years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience
- Professional Engineers license or ability to obtain a local license through reciprocity within three months following date of hire
Responsibilities
- Major Market Engineering Profit Center Owner for Engineering
- Commitment to manage/oversee the engineering practice for growth with a strong emphasis on technical work execution and business development
- Lead and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers and project managers
- Oversee geotechnical and field services projects
- Prepare and provide principal review of reports
- Prepare and provide principal review of proposals for geotechnical engineering services
- Overall responsible for quality assurance of all geotechnical deliverables and processes
- Manage departmental P&L
- Assist senior staff in marketing ECS services by maintaining regular client contact
- Lead the recruiting efforts for geotechnical engineering professional staff
