Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Understanding of soil properties and testing methods
  • Precision in collecting and analyzing soil samples
  • Competence in conducting field tests and using laboratory equipment
  • Ability to record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately
  • Clear documentation and reporting of findings
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Efficiently managing tasks and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Flexibility to work on various projects and adapt to changing conditions

Responsibilities

  • Collect soil samples from various field sites using appropriate sampling techniques.
  • Conduct field tests such as soil density, moisture content, and compaction.
  • Perform laboratory tests including grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, and soil classification.
  • Record and analyze test data, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of test results.
  • Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and technical reports.
  • Communicate findings and observations to the Project Manager/Supervisor.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
