Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Technician in Torrance, CA to support our geotechnical engineering practice. This is a dynamic and challenging role where the candidate will be responsible for performing field and laboratory sampling and testing, observing and testing earthwork and concrete construction, driving to and from project sites, operating nuclear density gauges and other field equipment, sampling wet concrete and preparing specimens, preparing field inspection reports on a laptop, reading construction drawings and plotting test locations, photographing site conditions, assisting the project management team with geologic research, preparing site plans and other report exhibits, assisting with report and proposal preparation, and daily communication with project managers, contractors, and/or clients.
