Looking to get the most out of your upcoming internship? Hatch is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Student for an internship starting Fall 2026. Reporting to the Geotechnical team, you will support offices globally working from our Calgary, Alberta office location.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical resource on challenging projects, working closely with engineers, geoscientists, and designers.
  • Apply analytical, conceptual, research, and planning skills to support geotechnical investigations, geological characterization, and geotechnical design and analysis.
  • Gain exposure to modern design tools, including 3D modeling, geotechnical analysis, and complex calculation software.
  • Work closely with experienced professional engineers and geoscientists who will provide guidance and mentoring.
  • Gain experience in a variety of technical areas.
