About The Position

Our Greensboro, North Carolina, office is looking for an eager and motivated EIT or PE to join our Geotechnical team. Since 1974, our Greensboro office has partnered with clients in public, private, energy, and transportation sectors. From schools and hospitals to industrial facilities and pipelines, our projects improve the places where people live and work. This is a great opportunity for either an EIT looking to develop their technical skills and move into project management or a more seasoned engineer ready to take on different projects, mentor staff, and expand their technical and project management skills.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, or a related engineering field.
  • 4+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience, which preferably includes some extent of project management responsibilities.
  • You have or are on track to obtain an Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license

Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical projects from planning to execution, maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze field and laboratory data to develop safe and effective engineering solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and support business development initiatives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and subcontractors, ensuring alignment and solving project challenges.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote a positive, safety-first work culture.
