The Underground Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for providing practical and technically sound geotechnical support to underground mining operations at Silvertip. Working closely with Technical Services, Mine Operations and other technical disciplines, the role ensures the safe and efficient development, extraction, and rehabilitation of underground excavations through effective ground control, geotechnical design, monitoring, and risk management. This site-based position combines hands-on field engagement with engineering analysis and design, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) and other geotechnical risk management systems. The successful candidate will apply rock mechanics principles, monitoring data, and engineering judgment to develop practical solutions that enhance safety, operational performance, and mine value.
