CWI Works is recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer position within the NFS Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program. This program provides support to the U.S. Forest Service (NFS). Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check. The role involves serving the regional engineering program as a Geotechnical Engineer, with primary functions including providing review and advice on regional abandoned mine land projects and providing mentoring and training to Forest Service Project Managers. The work will focus on mine restoration and abandoned mine projects.
