About The Position

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. As a geospatial developer and systems engineer, you’ll support a federal client by using dashboards, developing tools and scripts, and managing the client’s mission-critical ArcGIS systems. You will support and lead a variety of analytical and developmental solutions to problems with moderate to high complexity. You will manage and administer ArcGIS tools and systems running on Windows and associated software components. You will maintain and support regular updates for the client’s geospatial tools, dashboards, and their back-end scripts, and support users by crafting appropriate solutions for meeting user visualization and geocoding requirements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Notebooks
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and Python coding for GIS applications and analysis, including ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, or ArcGIS API for Python
  • Experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise or any of its component systems, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Geocode Server, GeoEvent Server, and Notebook Server
  • DHS Suitability
  • Bachelor's degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RDBMS and SQL query writing, including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and web development libraries
  • Experience with Power BI
  • ESRI IT Certification
