About The Position

As a Geospatial Technician I, you are responsible for LiDAR classification, creating digital elevation models, and compiling break lines for a diverse range of projects. You will be introduced to a broad array of airborne mapping fundamentals and procedures under the guidance of senior team members.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial, with a concentration in surveying, geomatics, or GIS
1+ years of experience with emphasis on LiDAR data classification
Knowledge of MicroStation/TerraScan, AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and other mapping software
Knowledge of surveying and mapping practices
Knowledge of ArcGIS

Responsibilities

Learn and classify LiDAR point clouds using TerraScan and MicroStation to meet customer requirements
Serve as a primary resource for LiDAR data processing on topographic and utility surveys
Issue all project deliverables in a timely manner to support administrative, procurement and construction activities
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to achieve resolution of project- related tasks
Provide internal daily status reports
Other special duties as assigned
