About The Position

Join Leidos and Help Solve Complex National Security Challenges The Analysis Solutions Business Area at Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Geospatial Analyst to support critical government missions in our Reston, Virginia location. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on advanced geospatial analysis, imagery exploitation, data integration, and GIS application development in support of geotechnical characterization, geological research, and the reverse engineering of above-ground and underground structures. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge geospatial technologies, including ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment within a government facility. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver with a passion for geospatial intelligence, data analysis, and innovative GIS solutions. Some travel and occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to meet mission needs.

Requirements

  • Active and in-scope Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability and willingness to successfully complete a polygraph examination upon hire.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Geospatial analysis and intelligence support, Intelligence Community operations, Geospatial data management (vector and raster formats), Intelligence fusion analysis, GEOINT product creation and dissemination
  • GIS software, including: ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, RemoteView
  • NGA data products, standards, and methodologies
  • Working across multiple network environments and domains
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience programming in Python.
  • Proficiency with ArcPy and the ArcGIS API for Python to automate workflows, analyze data, and streamline GIS processes.
  • Experience developing GIS applications, geoprocessing services, and web maps within ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, spatial analysis, and point cloud processing using ArcGIS and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data (vector and raster) from a variety of commercial, government, and National Technical Means (NTM) sources.
  • Prepare and manage geospatial datasets to support geotechnical characterization and geological research initiatives.
  • Maintain and organize geospatial data within enterprise geodatabases and structured data repositories.
  • Develop high-quality geospatial products, visualizations, and analytical solutions to support engineering and geological assessments.
  • Perform imagery analysis using panchromatic and multispectral imagery, including geospatial rectification and elevation data development.
  • Support GIS data capture, conversion, quality assurance, and integration activities.
  • Collaborate closely with intelligence analysts and technical stakeholders to understand mission requirements, refine analytical workflows, and deliver GIS-based solutions.
  • Train and support personnel in the effective use of ArcGIS tools and geospatial workflows.
