About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid Geospatial Research Analyst to support a Federal Government client. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves supporting geospatial data collection, curation, and analysis to ensure research outputs align with mission objectives. Responsibilities include applying geospatial analytical techniques, documenting and validating data sources, and contributing to the Geospatial Research Insights Report.

Requirements

• Expertise, knowledge, and capability to both apply and lead geospatial analytics and all-source intelligence methodologies, theories, and frameworks.
• Expertise, knowledge, and capability in AI/ML, data quality, enrichment, and stewardship processes and techniques to research.
• Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems and data steward tools, catalogs, techniques, and processes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications or training in Esri GIS or related technologies (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS REST API), Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and All Source Intelligence analytic methodology.

Responsibilities

• Support geospatial data collection, curation, and analysis, ensuring research outputs align with mission objectives.
• Apply geospatial analytical techniques, including spatial modeling, remote sensing interpretation, and GIS-based risk assessments.
• Document and validate geospatial data sources, ensuring alignment with metadata governance and interoperability standards.
• Contribute to the Geospatial Research Insights Report, detailing analytical methodologies and operational applications of geospatial intelligence.
• Develop geospatial and all source intelligence analytic products.
• Conduct data stewardship techniques best practices.
• Collaborate with other data providers and analysts to produce and curate country and regional pages in EDA.
• Engage and collaborate with customers to understand analytic requirements.
