Responsibilities include developing a warm rapport with students, creating a positive and secure classroom environment, and training students in habits and routines that align with the FCS philosophy. The role involves maintaining excellent student conduct, becoming familiar with yearly curriculum objectives, and actively participating in curriculum development. The teacher will use Curriculum Trak software for lesson planning, keep attendance and grade records, and foster patriotism and respect through daily pledges. The position requires learning and applying educationally relevant technology skills, enriching the curriculum with field trips and creative assignments, and checking student work regularly. Maintaining a close, cooperative relationship with parents, communicating frequently, and responding to emails within 24 hours is also a key responsibility. The teacher is expected to attend weekly faculty meetings, Prayer 'N' Share sessions, and other school evening activities as directed, and participate in professional development. Prompt and faithful supervision duty, professional and modest dress according to the Staff Dress Code, and a willingness to serve in special areas that enhance the school's ministry are also required.
