About The Position

The Geology Technician position is a permanent role with one opening. The place of work is in Nunavik. The deadline to apply is June 7th, 2026. The normal work schedule is a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Requirements

• College diploma (DEC) in mining technology, geology option or equivalent.
• 0 to 2 years of professional experience in mining geology or exploration.
• Valid driving license class 5.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite software.
• Hold a general explosive permit.
• Bilingualism in French and English and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the supervisors in all the Company’s operations.
• Work in collaboration with the geologists for developing Company’s underground mines and potentially open pits.
• Perform the underground work routine.
• Possibility of grade control in future open-pit mines.
• Participate in targeted sampling campaigns.
• Prepare samples for shipment to the mine laboratory.
• Participate in mapping, data entry and data validation.
• Assist in preparation and interpretation of assay results.
• Perform any other tasks required by the supervisor in order to give a good assistance to the mine operations.
