Requirements
- Fully authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Additionally, we are not authorized for employment under OPT/CPT/F1 visa programs.
- Successful completion of 2 years towards a Bachelor's (or higher) in Geology or a related geoscience field (Earth Science, Environmental Science, Geophysics)
- Must be a currently enrolled student for the Fall 2027 semester. Candidates should not have graduated before the start of the internship.
- Detail-oriented, a strong analytical background
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the oil and gas industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a variety of technical and non‑technical staff
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Professional conduct is fundamental to success in this position
- Proven organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Support team members with day‑to‑day tasks and project activities
- Assist with data compilation, organization, and basic interpretation of subsurface data
- Help prepare maps, exhibits, presentations, and technical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, reviews, and discussions to gain insight into subsurface workflows
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams as needed
- Follow established safety standards, procedures, and company policies
