About The Position

FALCATA is hiring a Mid-Level GEOINT Analyst focused on OPIR processing to perform sensor data fusion and reconstruction in support of research and operational requirements. The role provides analysis training and supports mission planning, post-event anomaly resolution, and assessment of uncertainties related to sensor collection and multi-sensor data fusion. It also supports real-time algorithms and processes to better use sensor capabilities and implement physics-based solutions. The analyst provides subject-matter expertise on sensors, data analysis, and intelligence production related to missile and space launch systems, supporting trajectory analysis of events of interest. The position facilitates and synchronizes analytical operations across the Intelligence Community and within the ADF-C in support of the NGA-D Analysis Directorate. It supports NGA mission readiness, capability integration, development of analysis solutions and intelligence products, evaluation of new or developmental data-processing techniques, and transition of mission-critical tools into operational workflows. The role also supports advanced analysis of hard target sets and research into new systems and technologies to develop analytic methodologies for exploitation. The position is based in Colorado, with the posting identifying Aurora and Denver. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; the description also states that candidates must have current TS/SCI clearances. Compensation is listed at $90,000–$155,000 per year, depending on experience and location. The role is eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience; relevant experience may possibly be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience with intelligence analysis and tradecraft in support of the military or the Intelligence Community.
  • Proficiency in GEOINT analysis and reporting.
  • The posting states that candidates must have current TS/SCI clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical skills for researching, assembling, and interpreting geospatial intelligence data.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with quality control (IQC) processes for geospatial and intelligence products.
  • Knowledge of data management, imagery manipulation, and backup procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for intelligence briefings and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sensor data fusion and reconstruction in support of research and operational requirements.
  • Provide analysis training classes and ad hoc training on sensor data, fusion, and reconstruction tools.
