About The Position

We are a cybersecurity firm protecting critical infrastructure, aerospace systems, maritime navigation, and enterprise location-based services against electronic attacks. The Geo-GPS Spoofing Cybersecurity Specialist serves as a subject matter expert on GNSS vulnerabilities, RF signal analysis, and anti-spoofing countermeasures. The role works with engineering, threat intelligence, and red-team operations to simulate attacks, strengthen hardware and software architectures, and develop real-time systems for detecting location-based spoofing. The specialist investigates GPS/GNSS spoofing, meaconing, and jamming; designs and implements PNT security measures; conducts controlled testing; builds real-time detection tools; supports security integration into product lifecycles; and delivers technical briefings and threat intelligence reports. The position is full-time and remote-first, with access to lab facilities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, RF engineering, or wireless communications security, specifically focused on GNSS/GPS technologies.
  • Deep understanding of GNSS architectures, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, and their signal structures.
  • Proficiency with software-defined radios such as USRP, HackRF, or BladeRF, and tools such as GNURadio.
  • Experience with sensor fusion combining GPS with IMUs, wheel odometers, or computer vision for navigation resilience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB for data analysis, signal processing, and automation.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic protocols, secure boot, and hardware security modules (HSMs).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience securing critical infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, or defense systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial anti-spoofing modules or civil tiered authentication services such as Galileo OSNMA.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or specialized RF/wireless security credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate emerging GPS/GNSS spoofing, meaconing, and signal-jamming techniques affecting mobile, IoT, aviation, and maritime assets.
  • Design and implement anti-spoofing and authentication mechanisms for PNT systems, including cryptographic signal authentication and multi-sensor data fusion.
  • Conduct controlled RF spoofing simulations and penetration testing in laboratory and field environments to evaluate system resilience.
  • Build monitoring tools and algorithms to detect anomalous location shifts, signal-power discrepancies, and clock drift in real time.
  • Partner with software and hardware engineering teams to integrate security best practices into product lifecycles.
  • Deliver technical briefings and threat intelligence reports to executive leadership and enterprise clients.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
  • Equity.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with 100% premium coverage options.
  • 401(k) matching program.
  • Remote-first work environment with access to state-of-the-art lab facilities.
  • Annual stipend for conferences, certifications, and technical training.
