About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a related Health Science or Social Science discipline.
  • Advanced organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.

  • Ability to self-teach.
  • Strong knowledge in clinical genetics, molecular biology and genomic technology.
  • Current knowledge of Genetics.
  • Ability to read and interpret genetic reports to assist with data capture.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal/consultative relationships.
  • Ability to follow safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of current trends/issues/best practice strategies.
  • Ability to competently use computers and software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year (1) experience in Genetics.
  • Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months including a vulnerable sector search (required for interview).
