About The Position

In this role, you will perform specific genetic counseling-related and procedural/administrative duties as assigned under the supervision of licensed/certified genetic counselor/clinician/medical directors. You will be engaged in clinical, departmental and shared governance initiatives, resulting in a superior patient experience. This role primary focus in genetics will be in oncology. Requirements

  • Ability to utilize medical terminology in a clinical setting required.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills required.
  • Ability to communicate sufficiently in English to perform job duties required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two plus years of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.
  • Course work or experience in genetics preferred.
  • Some college preferred.
